Eligibility

  • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), or Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs).

  • Age Limit: The minimum age for candidates seeking admission is 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year. The maximum age limit for General and OBC candidates is 25 years, while for SC/ST category candidates, it is 30 years.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as mandatory subjects.

  • Minimum Marks: General and OBC category candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST category candidates, the minimum aggregate requirement is 50%.

  • Attempt Limit: General and OBC candidates can appear for AIIMS MBBS entrance examination a maximum of three times, whereas there is no restriction on the number of attempts for SC/ST category candidates.
