Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with English as a compulsory subject.

Marital Status and Medical Fitness: Candidates should be unmarried and medically fit as per the standards prescribed by the Government of India, Ministry of Defence.

Age Limit: Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years on December 31, 2023, and must not have attained the age of 24 years on the same date.

Selection Criteria:

NEET UG Score: The candidate’s score in the NEET UG examination will be considered for the selection process.

NEET Counselling: The candidate’s performance in the NEET UG counselling will also be taken into account.

Test of English Language and Comprehension (ToELR): Candidates will be evaluated based on their performance in the ToELR.

Psychological Assessment Test (PAT): The candidate’s performance in the PAT will be considered.

Interview: An interview will be conducted to assess the candidate’s suitability for admission.

Syllabus

The syllabus for the AFMC BSc. Nursing entrance exam 2023 encompasses topics from Science Branches studied in class 10 and 12, as well as English Language Capabilities and Logical Reasoning. The subjects covered in the syllabus include:

    • Eligibility: Candidates must pass 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. The aggregate score in PCB should be at least 60%. Additionally, they must have a qualifying score in NEET (134 for Unreserved and 107 for Reserved categories).
  2. B.Sc. Nursing

    • Duration: 1-3 years
    • Specializations: Basic, Post Basic, Operation Room, Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation, Oncology, Cardiothoracic, and Neonatal.
    • Eligibility: Candidates must pass 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Only female candidates can apply, and they must also pass the AFMC Nursing exam.
  3. MS (Master of Surgery)

    • Duration: 3 years
    • Specializations: ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology.
    • Eligibility: Candidates must have a qualifying score in NEET PG (366), with a relaxation cutoff of 319 for SC/ST candidates. They should have an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college.
  4. MD (Doctor of Medicine)

  6. BMPT (Bachelor of Paramedical Technology)

    • Duration: 2 years
    • Specializations: Laboratory Technician, Radiographic Technician, Radiotherapy Technician, Cardiac Technician, Neuro Technician, Blood Transfusion Technician, Optometry Technician, Perfusionist, Operation Theatre Technician, Endoscopy Technician.
    • Eligibility: Candidates should have an MBBS degree and a postgraduate degree in medicine from any recognized medical college. Only experienced applicants are eligible for BMPT courses offered by AFMC.
  7. MCh (Master of Chirurgiae)
